I am an assistant professor (maître de conférences) at the University of Bordeaux, France. My main area of research is birational geometry and automorphism groups of algebraic varieties. I have done some work on the Cremona groups, birational self-maps of Mori fibre spaces (in particular, Severi-Brauer varieties), Sarkisov program, and holomorphic symplectic manifolds.
I received my PhD from the Steklov Mathematical Institute in Moscow, where my supervisor was Yuri Prokhorov. From 2018 to 2021, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Basel in the group of Jérémy Blanc. Subsequently, from 2021 to 2023, I held the position of Hadamard Lecturer at the École polytechnique in Paris.
